CESS-Danmark A/S opens in Nigeria
Unique opportunities in the IT-markets of the African region, have led CESS-Danmark A/S to establish a new branch in the African country of Nigeria. The regional business developments are growing rapidly, due to both significant foreign investments and a successful local oil industry, this together opens a huge market for IT infrastructure.
July 1, 2010 CESS-Danmark A/S opens a branch in Nigeria. Nigeria is an area of high growth, with large investments in infrastructure and oil industry. With annual two-digit growth rates, the country is consequently a popular area for the Danish IT company CESS-Danmark A/S, providing full service IT solutions for the enterprise markets.
Unique position in new market
“We establish partnerships in markets relevant to us and in Nigeria we will gain a unique position. Competition is in several areas non-existent and the area is booming, both in terms of infrastructure development and new high-tech companies. This again makes Nigeria a good base, for future and further expansions in the African region,” says Nikolaj Johansen, CEO of CESS-Denmark A/S. Their market research in the entire region of Franco-African countries, shows great potentials just waiting to be cultivated. New branches in other countries of the region, is therefore a very relevant future for the Danish IT group CESS-Danmark A/S.
Relaying on experience from other markets
“With our new local staff, we expect to gain significant market shares over a short time period. We will take advantage of our experience from a number of markets, that we already operate”, says Nikolaj Johansen. Amongst other things, CESS-Danmark A/S has established a branch in Croatia in 2009 and has a very wide range of global resellers.
“Our international expansion is of highest importance to us. Our ambition is to be market leaders in our field and our presence in Nigeria is a strong step forward,” says Nikolaj Johansen.
Strong local representatives
Our division in Nigeria is led by Adedapo Adedoyin, coming from a position as chief consultant in Joint Komputer Kompany and he is joined by a second employee. Their primary function will be to strengthen our involvement in local projects and to gain new contracts on maintenance of both mainframe and storage systems.
